Catch bad brake fluid before it destroys calipers and other brake system components. Calibrated for DOT 4 fluid only, this tester simply and easily determines the brake fluid quality in 5 easy steps. Step 1: Remove cap from brake fluid reservoir. Step 2: Remove probe cap from brake fluid tester. Step 3: Press power button on top of tester and the green LED lights up. Step 4: Dip entire length of metal probes into brake fluid. Step 5: After one second, match color of LEDs with color chart to determine brake fluid quality. Tester automatically powers off after twelve seconds of inactivity. Includes one 1.5 volt AAA battery.
