This corded Utility, Map and Convenience light is unlike any other product you've seen. Designed to aide vehicle operators in high-end RV's, Military vehicles, Marine craft and Utility vehicles, it's unique design includes a compact incandescent light fixture, an adjustable base (to change the light angle when locked in the base) and a mount with on/off rocker switch. Made of ABS plastic, this lamp is a highly functional as a map or chart lamp, a supplemental instrument panel light, reading lamp or trouble light in cockpits of various marine, utility and air vehicles. Just under 5" in length and 2.5" in width, it's compact enough to fit in most tight spaces. The coiled cord provides about 1 meter of distance when unseated from its firmly mounting base. Designed to operate at 12VDC, the lamp draws just 5W using the included incandescent bulb. Light output is sufficient for most utility tasks inside the cockpit, such as map reading, panel lighting or general use. Easy to mount, the base stands about 2.5" off the mounted surface making this a very compact and functional lamp for many utility uses.
