This Ducati 25mm Front Axle Alignment Tool fits 748 749 916 996 998 999 ST2 ST3 ST4 800SS 1000SS and any other Ducati with a 25mm diameter axle. Bikes with Ohlins forks need a different tool, since they do not have a notch. The Axle Alignment tool is necessary to keep the notch in the axle lined up with the notch in the fork bottom when tightening the front axle nut. The alignment is needed to have access to the compression adjustment screw. The tool is made from 6061 aluminum with a hardened dowel pin and a roll pin. Brand new and a must have for anyone working on a Ducati! Proudly manufactured and assembled in the United States.
