Our steel springs are manufactured to exceed OEM specifications and include the plastic liners for no-squeak travel. Replace that worn out, dangerous spring today. Be sure to order a new mounting kit, too. When changing real springs or spring bolts, the stack up on the spring and plate should be checked against the bolt length. This due to the variation or leaf and liner thickness. Spring mount plate and bolts are sold separately. 63-74 Rear springs are 2-2 1/4 wide, 78-82 rear springs are 21/2 wide. We suggest you measure your spring width before ordering, since springs and rear covers are universal and yours may have been changed. We do not recommend purchasing Heavy Duty springs unless your car came equipped with it or you intend to use your car for racing. These springs are shipped with a band clamp which is not original. These are for shipping purpose. Cutomer will have to remove these clamps prior to spring installation.
