The Steel M4000 is a universal rack system that can be installed on any vehicle with or without drip rails (drilling required). All steel systems are galvanized and powder coated for superior protection. The extra wide 6" X 1.5" mounting base, polyfoam gasket and 5" X 1in interior plate secures the rack system onto the vehicle. Crossbars are made with 14-gauge steel and mounting bases are made with 11-gauge steel. Max load capacity of this system is 500 lbs. for a 2 bar system. To aid in loading and unloading of material handle (bullhorn) is placed on both the driver side and passenger side. Accessories included (2 Side Rails to prevent items from sliding off vehicle.)(1 X 5" Ladder Guide: Separate material and ladders and allow for easy tie down.)(4 X 5" Side Support: Prevent material from falling off the sides.)(2X 5" Ladder Stopper: Prevent ladders from sliding forward.)(2X Push 2 Secure: Locking system that secures ladders in place simply by pushing handle against ladder steps.
