The Tanabe downpipe will improve turbine efficiency and will handle larger boost pressure with less strain. This means maximum power and response with reliable functionality. The downpipe is manufactured with SUS304 high grade stainless steel for durability and weight reduction. The stainless steel is also good at handling high levels of heat associate with exhaust gases. A flex pipe is also added (some applications) for cracking and failure prevention due to twisting and moving of the pipe. All Tanabe downpipes include an EGT bung for use of exhaust temperature monitoring sensor. So drilling or modifications is not needed.
