Eagle F1 GS-2 tires feature Goodyearâs Ultra High Performance tread compound molded into a directional tread design. A continuous center rib maintains constant road contact to enhance straight-line tracking and initial steering response. High-angle tread blocks and dual Aquachannel grooves avoid trapping water between the tire and the road to boost wet traction and hydroplaning resistance. Twin high-tensile steel belts are reinforced with spirally wound aramid to distribute the vehicleâs load across the tireâs footprint providing high-speed durability and a smooth, consistent ride. Exterior sidewall rim flange protectors help guard wheels against accidental curb scrapes. F1 GS-2 EMT features Extended Mobility Technology to increase mobility in the event of a puncture. This tire is designed primarily as an Original Equipment replacement for the Pontiac Solstice GXP and the Saturn Sky Red Line.
