Your Mid-sized, Multipurpose Storage Solution

Whether at home in your garage or workshop, at work, or any place in-between that you may find yourself, dependable and durable, secure storage is eventually a necessity. UWS answers this need with its TBC-30-BLK Black 30-inch Standard Chest. Although it is not intended for use in pickup trucks, this multipurpose storage option features a black powder finish applied over a 0.063-inch aluminum tread plate that is durable enough to take whatever treatment your can dish out, plus this outer powder coat serves as a good base for painting if another color is desired. Its aluminum construction is light, making moving the box a breeze, and the tread plate used in the box construction creates an attractive appearance that also adds traction in if items are stacked on the box. The lid of the box is beveled resulting in fewer sharp edges and the black power coat finish is moisture and dust resistant. But there is more to this box than what you see on its outside.

Inside its 30-inch (l) x 19¼-inch (w) x 16-inch (h) single compartment, UWS' 30-inch Standard Chest holds a sizable 5.3-cubic feet of storage space. UWS has made usage as convenient and safe as possible. The box opens erect up to 90-degrees and utilizes an interior strut to both hold itself open and slowly close itself with a slight push. Also, when open its offset hinge prevents it from rubbing against adjacent surfaces. Together this means that items, rear walls, fingers, etc. will never be impacted by the lid, and that the lid can easily be closed even when hands are full. Once items are loaded in the box, moisture, dust and dirt kept out by patented MicroSeal stripping while a foam element along the interior of the lid inhibits bending and warping of the aluminum which over time might otherwise prevent the forming of a correct seal. Finally, the paddle lock, with two included keys allows for maximum security regardless of where the box is used, and connecting rod enclosure inside the box helps prevent box contents from bending or jamming the locking system.
