The DB-4848 48-inch Southern 2-Door Deep Dog Box with Divider is intended primarily for use pickup trucks in warm weather situations. The box is designed for use with two dogs, each with its own compartment, separated by a non-removable divider and each with its own dog door. To ensure your dogs' comfort in warm weather, the box allows free airflow on three of its four sides and its aluminum construction dissipates heat more quickly than the steel found in some boxes. The box's dimensions are 48-inches (w) x 48-inches (d) x 24-inches (h), with 32-cubic feet of space split evenly between the two compartments. The box also features attractive, lightweight and rustproof 0.063-inch aluminum tread plate construction. Once loaded into the box through their individual doors that are as tall as the box, dogs are quickly and dependably secured by the integrated stainless steel T-handle locks on the doors (two keys are included), while when outside of the box dogs are kept close and under control via a welded rail circling the top of box that provides a convenient tiedown points for leads. This welded tiedown rail also provides a convenient way to strap the box to your truck via side rail tiedown hooks or holes.
