A system should be flushed when repairs are being done and the system is opened to the air. However, if a 'closed system' retrofit is being performed and the system is not opened, no flushing is required to remove contaminants. Ester flush and clean removes mineral oil contaminates and residue refrigerant. Ideal when switching from R12 to R134 refrigerant to cleanse the system prior to adding the R 134 gas. Flush and Clean is compatible with all R12, R-134A and mineral, ester and PAG refrigerant oils. Products are non-flammable and environmentally safe.
