Dana Commercial Vehicle Systems Division has released new steer axle kingpin service kits that include new "PRE-SIZED" kingpin bushings. These kits cover single and dual draw key axle models and include the option of "Garlock DX" or "Bronze" pre-sized bushings. All of the service kits contain the patented (No. 6,113,118) compressible kingpin inserts, which are designed to maximize bushing life in lubrication sensitive or contaminated environments. Using these new service kits with pre-sized bushings eliminates the need to dimensionally ream knuckle bushings at installation.
