No, it does NOT require any modification to install this grille. This grille fits like the OEM replacement grille. * Q. Does this front grille come with the emblem? A. No, it does NOT come with the emblem (basically the design of this grille is to eliminate the stock emblem). * Q. Can I order this front grille pre-painted in color other than Black? A. No, we do not offer painting services on these grille. In case buyer wants to paint the grille in different color, we recommended buyer to have the front grille pre-fitted on the car before doing any painting, and have the painting done by a local body shop. This is a service that most body shops are VERY comfortable providing to customers. Having it painted by a local body shop is also the most effective way to get a proper color match.
