This little powerhouse heater can be a hard to find part ..... And worth every penny in a cold climate. This is the most powerful and durable block heater available for the 6.6L duramax diesel. Superior performance as compared to the 750w heaters available elsewhere. Made for us right here in the good 'ol usa, not china! Not a flimsy stamped metal part ... Solid brass, with a new rubber sealing "o" ring included. Includes a new heavy gauge 5' power cord for 120v ac and detailed installation instructions. Fits any gm 6.6L duramax diesel in any vehicle..... Pickup trucks, vans, h-1 hummers... They all have the 40mm core plug opening. Replace an old heater ... Or install in an engine that never had one. A must for smooth safe engine starting below 30 degrees f. Our customers in alaska and northern canada often install one on each side of the engine for their extreme cold climates. Standard mounting position is in the right front core plug hole (on the passenger's side). Also replaces old gm block heater with lr1843 marking. We are bostic motors inc.
