Pulstar plugs are the first real breakthrough in spark plug technology in over 120 years. They look and fit like spark plugs but contain an integrated electrical device called a capacitor. The capacitor peaks the energy of the spark plug in much the same way that a camera flash intensifies light. Instead of just 50 watts of peak power typical of all other spark plugs, Pulstar plugs generate up to 1 million watts of ignition power. The resulting robust spark ignites fuel more efficiently liberating more torque from the engine. Independent testing has validated torque gains of up to 12 % with improvement in throttle response, and reduced CO2.
