Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil is engineered for the Do-it-Yourselfers that knows that vehicles with more driven miles sometimes need a little extra attention. Mobil Clean High Mileage 10W-30 provides a conventional motor oil alternative for cars that have gone the distance. It provides excellent all-season protection in a wide variety of cars, vans and trucks. It exceeds warranty requirements for gasoline engines where an API certified Starburst oil is specified. It meets the requirements of ILSAC GF-4 (API Certified - Starburst), API SM/SL, GM 6094M, The requirements for diesel-powered vehicles where API CF or API CD is recommended. Mobil Clean High Mileage 10W-30 is designed for vehicles with more than 75,000 miles. Its advanced formulation helps protect seals and prolong engine life. It has 10W-30 has 16 percent more cleaning agents, versus Mobil conventional oil, to help prevent the formation of sludge and harmful deposits and keep engines running cleaner longer. It is not necessary to use a special oil filter or to flush the engine prior to changing to Mobil Clean High Mileage 10W-30. Mobil Clean High Mileage is formulated from high quality base stocks combined with the modern performance additives, including a seal conditioner to help prevent leaks in higher mileage vehicles and an advanced cleaning additive system to provide excellent engine cleanliness at oil drain intervals up to 5,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. These oils protect against sludge and engine rust and corrosion under high and low-temperature operating conditions. Pour depressants and a viscosity index (VI) improver are included to provide optimized viscosity and fluidity over a wide range of ambient temperatures.
Motor oil is made from crude oil and is used to lubricate, clean, and cool engines. Types of motor oil include conventional, synthetic, diesel, bio-based, hybrid (blends of conventional and synthetic), and recycled oils. Motor oil varies in weight and viscosity, as well as additives that some manufacturers add to the oil during the refining process. A numerical code system created by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) grades motor oils according to viscosity--the higher the number between 0 and 60, the more viscous (thicker) the oil is. Most consumer motor oils are graded by two numbers, with the first number indicating cold weather (Winter or "W") performance.

Full Synthetic Oil
This oil is a full synthetic oil, meaning crude oil is not used in making it. Its complex method of production means it can often cost more than conventional motor oil.
High Mileage Oil

Extra additives are included to minimize compression loss, and to condition rubber seals and gaskets to prevent fluid leakage in older or high-mileage vehicles.
