Echo Quick Release is easy to install and use. Double "D" rings have been around as long as there have been helmets. And people like them or they don't. But even if you like the "D" helmet retention, there are times when it is more of a nuisance then anything else, especially when the straps twist as you feed them through the rings. The Echo Helmet Quick Release uses interlocking tempered steel components in a high Nylon Body, making it strong and secure. The Quick Release is so well made that it exceeds DOT MVSS 218 and Snell (M2005) standards. It even exceeds the standard for police helmets (NIJ 0104.02). It's been tried and proven to not only work but to meet the latest safety standards.
