Our winch features a tough 3 stage planetary gear box delivering both power, and reliability on each and every pull. All the exterior winch body screws and bolts are corrosion resistant stainless steel and provide a long life. Our winches feature automatic load holding to minimize the possibility of winch line slippage in the event of power failure. Winches also include a rubberized remote switch with a 12-foot extension cable allowing for safe use during winch operation. A full instructional manual is included for easy installation. Omix-ADA, Inc. warrants to the initial retail purchaser (“purchaser”) only that when installed and used on purchaser’s vehicle according to supplied product installation instructions and/or warnings, purchaser’s Rugged Ridge Vehicle Recovery Winch shall be free of defects in material and workmanship for: (a.) five years with respect to the mechanical components and (b.) one year with respect to all electrical components including motor, solenoids, switches and controls.
