The Rotary Hook and Loop Backing Plate is a Perfection III backing plate with a 5/8 inch diameter shaft. This backing plate is the first ever 5 inch backing plate engineered and designed for the rotary machine for use with 5 inch pads. The highly flexible design allows for very easy transitioning from flat to contoured surfaces, and the hook and loop backing material enables quick and easy pad changes. The edges of the pad flex to allow for easy use on flat and rounded edges, made of flexible, molded urethane outside with an internal sponge compression design that allows the backing plate to compress and rebound forming to surfaces both flat and round.
