Ram Clutch Powergrip HD 11" x 1 1/8-26" Clutch Sets feature an increased clamp load pressure plate and a 900 series friction material disc on an 8 spring hub carrier. Springs are encapsulated in a urethane material for additional center hub strength. Powergrip HD provides up to a 120 percent increase in holding power without chatter that is prevalent in paddle disc design clutch sets. All RAM clutch sets utilize a balance of increased clamp pressure and friction material to achieve holding capacity throughout the entire RPM range, not just at high RPM. It includes the pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing (non-hydraulic apps), and alignment tool. A billet flywheel is recommended for these sets. Use RAM Powergrip HD sets for higher power cars to 650hp that are primarily street driven but may see some track time. If the vehicle sees much race track action, select the next higher level set.
