The Big M Sportsman block was designed to be an affordable, powerful engine block. The Sportsman block is fitted with ductile iron 4-bolt main caps, and feaures a redesigned lubrication system that oils all of the main bearings before the lifters for extra reliability. We added two slotted head stud bosses on both sides of the lifter valley so you can use studs instead of hard-to-install bolts to take the place of the "missing" head bolts. Dart blocks are machined in-house on precision CNC equipment to ensure quality and to eliminate the need for expensive "blueprinting". Specifications: Standard main size, 10.200 deck height, 4.500 bore, ductile iron main caps. -10.200 decks allow for increased displacement and longer rods for a better rod ratio.
