The Green Dual-Action Collapsed Cell Structure Heavy Polishing Pad is designed to be used with a random orbital polisher such as a porter cable. The pad produces less spot heating and has a unique compression/load/deflection ratio which means it conforms quickly to the contours of the vehicle. It is a high strength foam with 60 pores per square inch yet is softer and more forgiving than the regular foams which have 80 pores per square inch. This pad is tough enough to remove swirls and scuffs while at the same time producing a high gloss swirl free finish. This foam is also ideal for applying one-step cleaner waxes. It is a balance of polishing and finishing that is perfect for all-in-one product application. Tested and approved at OEM levels, these pads using strategic patterns of partially closed cells, reduce the rate of polish absorption, improves operator control whilst at the same time reducing heat. The polish-saving design gives polishes a longer working time, which results in more successful detailing. Collapsed Cell Structure (CSS) pads utilize the latest in innovation and are very user friendly providing better control, less product waste, more accurate results and overall a better job. The CSS Technology slows the rate of polish absorption which results in a longer working time. The CSS pockets gradually release polish as needed by the operator which improves operator control. The CSS pockets also reduce surface tension which allows the operator to run the pad flat on a working surface, preventing pad skipping.
