These harnesses provide tuners with unparalleled ease for integrating ancillary electronics to a race car, testing electronics and more. These patch/extension harnesses eliminate the need to cut into the factory wiring harness on race cars and allow for easy return to the stock harness configuration. Tuners will appreciate the advantages of these harnesses. No more lying on your back in the foot well of a vehicle to add electronics to the harness; you can add ancillary electronics from the bench, debug by simply unplugging the harness, integrate the patch/extension harness as part of your electronics package and test new electronics from the bench instead of the vehicle. It also saves time and money, since it costs less to buy a patch/extension harness and wire a device into it than it does to for a tech to cut into a factory harness and wire in an electronics device. Currently, AEM is the only company to offer a patch/extension harness for domestic applications. All harnesses are 100 percent continuity checked and all wiring terminals are reinforced with an over mold for outstanding durability.
