The industry standard for fast and precise synchronizing of 2- and 4-stroke, two-, three and four-cylinder engines (synchronizes up to 6 cylinders with optional adapter). No fragile glass, no toxic mercury, no mechanical friction or inertia, no calibration hassles. Solid-state medical-grade sensors are drop-proof, and self-calibrate for barometric pressure changes. Shock- and water-resistant composite molded polyurethane and polycarbonate casing is strong and resilient. Vertically arranged LED bars (40 LEDs in each bar) provide clear visuals (even in sunlight) of signals derived from solid-state electronic pressure sensors. RPM mode for essential adjustment of engine speed before and after synchronizing - 2- or 4-stroke switch allows correct readings on both engine types. Flick the switch to check rpm on channel 1 and flick to VAC to display accurate vacuum readings. AVE mode with three overlapping scale ranges 5-25, 20-40, 35-55 cm Hg for convenient and quick synchronizing - precise 0,5 cm Hg resolution on all scales. Diagnostic mode with auto-ranging scale for immediate visual check if engine is difficult to synchronize. Quickly checks for non-sealing intake or exhaust valves, leaking manifold or a restricted air intake. ME (marine) model has internal rechargeable 1,5Ah 7, 2V NiMH batteries; recharge by connecting to a 12V vehicle battery or 12VDC adapter. Low battery warning LED plus dual-purpose Charge LED that indicates external power connected and recharging in progress. The kit includes soft nylon travel case, battery cord-set, T-connector and 4 x M5 & M6 flexi-rigid manifold connection adapters.
