69-inch Crossover Box Design with Dual-lid Access

The TB-69-T100 69-inch Gull Wing Aluminum Toolbox combines ease of use and installation, with a full feature set and improved access to/and security of stowed gear that makes it an excellent storage choice suitable for compatible full-size pickups. The UWS TB-69-T100 is a crossover style box, meaning that when mounted in a truck bed, its weight is supported equally between truck bed rails, typically behind the cab. The unit is compatible with most trucks with interior wall-to-wall bed widths ranging between 58 and 69-inches, securing quickly and easily to side rails via included J-bolt hardware. The box's overall dimensions are 69-inches (l) x 19¼-inches (w) x 13½-inches (h) - providing 8.6-cubic feet of storage space, with additional space available between the bottom of the box and the trunk bed floor. The one-piece tub and beveled lid of the box is constructed of 0.063-inch aluminum tread plate and is designed to support heavy loads, absorb tool drops and prevent leakage. Once installed, the box maintains a low-profile of only four-inches above truck bed rails, ensuring driver's clear view of the road via the rear view mirror.

As with all products in UWS' Gull Wing product line, the TB-69-T100 features two independently opening lids that lift towards the center of the bed from the driver and passenger sides. These patented foamed-filled lids create a rigid wall between outer aluminum layers to help prevent bending or warping. Integrated into the underside of each lid is a self-closing strut that automatically holds the lid open at up to a 90-degree angle when lifted and closes the lid with slight manual pull allowing for easy use of the box when hands are full. Built into both ends of the box are narrow tool trays and screwdriver holders that add extra strength and rigidity to the unit's overall structure, while also ensuring that tools are immediately accessible from the sides. Between these stationary trays, and above the main storage space, is a convenient three-compartment sliding tray accessible from either box lid that is perfect for small item storage and retrieval. Once the box is closed patented MicroSeal stripping along the contact points between lid and box helps seal out moisture, dust and dirt. Finally, the unit has stainless steel paddle locks at each end and includes two keys, allowing for maximum security wherever your job takes you.
