This durable, 1-inch Cam Strap from US Cargo Control is a smaller, more economical tie down strap that works great for any light duty application such as hauling motorcycles, snowmobiles, 4-wheelers, etc. Cam buckles use a pull-to-tighten system rather than the crank-to-tighten features seen in ratchets. This is a critical feature when securing precious cargo, because over-tightening your load with a ratchet can damage delicate items. The black, industrial grade polyester webbing is 6 feet long and will not stretch over time. The end fittings on this strap are vinyl coated S-hooks, which will not scratch your cargo like a bare wire hook. The high strength polyester makes this strap highly resistant to weathering, corrosion, and other damage. The hook or end fitting is generally the weakest part of a ratchet assembly, and thus determines the assembly's work load limit. When tying down an item, make sure the total work load limit of the strap(s) you are using equals or exceeds the total weight of the item(s) you are tying down.
