1986 Yamaha XJ 700 Maxim Left False Gas Tank Cover
Gas Tanks
The Left False Gas Tank Cover is the left half (as you are sitting on the bike) of a plastic or metal shell that is mounted where the Gas Tank is "suposed to be" (between the knees of the rider, in front of the front seat), while the actual fuel cell is located elsewhere (either under the cosmetic cover, or mounted lower in the frame).
A used False Tank Cover will be clean and structurally sound. It may be scratched or scuffed, but will be suitable for sanding and repainting. Please discuss the condition of the part with your salesperson prior to placing your order.
