THE HAMMER is a horn that is custom made to our specifications. THE HAMMER is not just a pretty face, it is LOUD. The trumpets and manifold body are metal! The manifold is metal, the horns are metal, the valve body, & valve cover are metal. Our casting is nice, heavy, and durable. We also added strength ribs to the casting body. You'll be able to transfer this horn to your next truck. This is no replacement for wide air passages if you want loud. So we doubled the width of our air passages and radiused the chambers. The result is smooth non-turbulent airflow to the tuned diaphragms. Our solenoid air valve is no larger in size than most but inside it is heavy with lots of copper windings. It gives a quick, sharp, instant release - even at 150psi. We plated the trumpets, the caps, the air manifold, and the valve assemly. We had to keep "the length" to keep "the distinct sound." But we were able to narrow the trumpet flares and shrink the manifold width. So the height & width of our horn is tight 6" x 6", about the same as a dollar bill. The horn bundle, including manifold, is 15" long. Our horns will fit under the hood or on the frame of almost any vehicle. Since our horns are nice enough to mount on the roof, we'll mention that our compact design cuts wind resistance, decreases wind noise, and doesn't look like it came out of a cartoon. You can actually install our horn on your vehicle! You can install it on the roof, under the hood, or underneath on the frame. If you offroad it will fit within the protection of your Safari or Gobi rack. The character and sound quality are excellent by design.
