Lokar Brake Cable kit Black has been designed for 1942-1954 Chevy trucks. The cables mount from backing plates on rear end to original cross shaft on chassis. It has been designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable. The stainless inner cable resists moisture. The kit includes two 4 foot outer housings that are u-cut-to-fit and are available in stainless housing or black housing. The design allows rear and backing plate fittings to be removed without removing brake cables. Lokar cables also feature two adjustable cable locks and clevis. The application fits the 8 inch and 9 inch Ford, Chevy, Chrysler and Lincoln Versailles drum and disc brakes. It also fits the 1987 and earlier Corvette rears.
