Hood Holder - Telescopic, 20" to 46" A three stage support tool. Compact size allows for storage in tool chest, cabinet, or car trunk. Many uses will be found for this handy support tool, like holding open trunks, hoods, doors and hatchbacks. Made from 6061 T-6, extruded aluminum tube, it is red anodized, with black rubber tips. Locks are two piece cam mechanisms. To operate Hood Holder: Extend to desired height. Hold securely and twist your right hand counter clockwise, left hand clockwise. Reverse this procedure to unlock. For long extensions, extend and lock larger sections first, then raise smaller section and lock. Warning - Not for use as a heavy duty support - 50 lbs. maximum!
