Putnam Hitch Extra Heavy Duty Receiver is designed to reflect the latest technology with high durability. They have a polyshield finish which is chemically grafted to the metal to protect to protect the hitch from nicks, scratches and corrosion better than any other of coating. It has a 2 square tube opening and is meant for full size pick-up and sport utility vehicles. These class V receiver hitches support a gross trailer weight of up to 15,000 pounds and with a weight distribution system they support a gross trailer weight of 16,000 pounds. These hitches provide a variety of advantages over the old-style drawbar hitch.
