Xenon capsules create a light from an electric discharge between two electrodes in an environment of metal halide salts, mercury, and xenon gas hermetically sealed in a quartz capsule. HELLA's xenon capsules provide a blue-white light source that is very close to natural daylight and deliver at least 70% more light at a lower wattage than traditional lamps. Xenon capsules should be used exclusively with xenon lamps/ballasts.
