An Automatic Transmission Kickdown Harness connects to the kickdown Solenoid. This solenoid is activated by a full-throttle switch (pedal to the floor) to downshift the transmission to the next available lower gear to gain speed and torque quickly. Electrical components such as a harness are Non-returnable parts. Always refer to a factory service manual when diagnosing engine service problems.
