Features and Benefits
Outstanding filter capacity, enhanced efficiency, consistent flow management and high-durability design help provide exceptional filtering performance. 98 percent single-pass filtering efficiency at 25-30 microns for excellent filtering capabilities. Patented cellulose media traps particles 1/3 the width of a human hair to help provide a clean supply of oil to engine components. Thermosetting adhesive seals hold filtering media in place for consistent, dependable filtration. Designed with five times greater burst strength than most engine oil operating pressures after the oil reaches operating temperatures. Application coverage for 97 percent of all cars, light-duty trucks and sport utility vehicles, both foreign and domestic.

Did You Know?
Properly disposing of used oil and oil filters is critical to protecting the environment and is also becoming regulated throughout the country as landfills become overcrowded. For example, recycling just 20% of all oil and oil filters used annually in the U.S. can reap big results, including:
- Saving nearly 400,000 cubic yards (over 300,000 cubic meters) of landfill space
- Preventing millions of gallons (liters) of oil from being dumped into landfills
- Reusing more than 34,000 tons (over 30,000 metric tons) of filter scrap to produce steel products
Consider recycling your oil and oil filters. It will make a big impact on the environment.
The Filtration System prevents contaminants from entering the engine and transmission while allowing enough fluid or airflow to keep them running properly.
Service & Maintenance
Replacing your vehicle's filters on a regularly scheduled basis will help the vehicle run better and last longer. (Refer to your Owner's Manual for your vehicle's specific filter change intervals.)
If your air filter is only slightly dirty, you can try cleaning it by gently tapping it on a flat surface or by blowing compressed air through it, from the clean side out.
You will need to replace the air filter more often if you drive frequently on dirt roads or live in a dusty area.
Clean filters contribute to better fuel economy and reduced vehicle operating costs. Outstanding filter capacity, enhanced efficiency.
