Valley 6-Way Round Metal Car End Connectors support electric brake and auxiliary functions as well as the three main lighting functions which are stop, turn and tail lights. Besides the ground, two extra pins are available which provides two additional functions, auxiliary power and trailer battery charging. They are the standard connector for agricultural and equipment trailers. The wire is tapped into the backup lights to disengage the trailer's brakes when the vehicle is reversing.
