Putnam Hitch Class III Receiver Hitch has a polyshield finish which is chemically grafted to the metal to protect the hitch from nicks, scratches and corrosion better than any other type of coating. It has a 2 square tube opening and is meant for mid-size pick-up, full size car and pick-up and van. These class III receiver hitches support a gross trailer weight of up to 3500 pounds with a tongue weight of 350 pounds. With a weight distribution system they support a gross trailer weight of 4000 pounds and a tongue weight of 400 pounds. These hitches provide a variety of advantages over the old-style drawbar hitch. The receiver comes with mounting hardware and installation instructions.
