Putnam Hitch Class IV Receiver Hitch has a polyshield finish which is chemically grafted to the metal to protect the hitch from nicks, scratches and corrosion better than any other type of coating. It has a 2 square tube opening and is meant for full size pick-up and van. These class IV receiver hitches support a gross trailer weight of up to 8000 pounds and with a weight distribution system they support a gross trailer weight of 12,000 pounds. These hitches provide a variety of advantages over the old-style drawbar hitch. The receiver comes with mounting hardware and installation instructions.
