Putnam Hitch Ball Mounts are constructed of the highest quality steel. Ball Mount is designed to be inserted into the hitch and is a part of trailer hitches that slides into a receiver and fastens with a pin and clip to allow the attachment of a ball for towing a trailer. Ball Mounts are used in drop and rise positions. These ball mounts have a 1-1/4" drop and a 3/4" rise. When selecting a ball mount, make sure to look at the weight rating, it should be equal to or larger than the hitch being used. These ball mounts have a weight rating of 3500 pounds. Each ball mount come with a corrosion resistant black powder coat finish.
