Hidden Hitch Step Bumper Receiver is made of corrosion resistant black powder coat finish. Step bumper is created as a replacement part for trucks to improve accessibility or to aid the easy entry and exit to the tailgate. Bolted on the bumper, step bumpers are made from reinforced steel, much thicker than the regular bumper to fortify and make the bumper more efficient if ever needed. Step bumper functions as protection to the vehicle in low speed collision and also increases the towing capacity of the vehicle making it more efficient and reliable during out of town, nature trips. This step Bumper receiver fits class III 2 square receiver tube and has a capacity of 4,000 pounds Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) and 300 pounds Tongue Weight (TW). It does not exceed maximum GTW of bumper or hitch and is not to be used with Weight Distributing (WD) systems. It may require modification or additional spacers for installation on late model pick-ups.
