Ideal for 1955-74 General Motors engines with single-point distributors, this kits' extra-thick contact arms are specially engineered to prevent flex at high rpm and resist point float up to 5000 rpm. Extra-large, precision-radiused tungsten contacts deliver crisp circuit breaking for peak coil output, and the high-strength Phenolic rubbing blocks are ideal for high spring tensions. A performance condenser has high-capacitance Mylar-and-foil windings that protect against the pitting of point contacts and eliminate internal shorting. Specially designed to cushion primary current and provide extended point life, the condenser has a moisture-proof Buna-N seal and is corrosion-resistant.
