Transmission filters should be changed per the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
All GKI transmission filters are supplied with gaskets, o-rings etc. as per application.
The transmission filter prevents harmful contaminants from entering the hydraulic system, reducing wear & tear. The material trapped by the filter is normally metal chips from hard parts like gears or bushings and the fine material that results from wear of the hydraulic clutch facings and bands.
GKI transmission filters are manufactured to strict quality standards. Design specifications are maintained through extensive testing and inspection programs.
