The Crane Pushrod Guideplate is made from heat-treated steel with a black oxide finish. They have a rigid, stepped design to reduce flexing and rocker arm wander, and to stabilize the pushrod. It features a significant increase in strength over stock designs. Their unique design provides a more rigid guide, reduces flexing, stabilizes the pushrod and reduces rocker arm "wander." Carburized pushrods must be used with this guideplate, or premature pushrod wear and failure will occur. It includes 8 guideplates. Cylinder head machining and screw-in rocker arm studs may be required to install this guideplate and it requires machine work.
