The Crane PowerMax Camshafts have lobe patterns which are specifically designed to balance intake and exhaust flow. The camshaft uses lobes (called cams) that push against the valves to open them as the camshaft rotates; springs on the valves return them to their closed position. Intake duration at 0.050 lift is 244 degree and exhaust duration at 0.050 lift is 256 degree. Ratio of the rocker arm is 1.70.
