The Crane Roller Timing Chain Set uses a Torrington-type thrust bearing to further eliminate engine block damage and operating friction. These sets are installed without block machining. It should be used only in conjunction with cam button spacers used to eliminate camshaft end-play. These chain set are applicable to non-emission controlled trucks and similar vehicles. It is not applicable or intended for use on any emission controlled vehicles operated on highways or roads.
