Coilover Kits - Whether your vehicle is set up for everyday street driving, weekend racing, or strictly for show, the Skunk2 Racing adjustable coilovers are your solution. Each coilover kit comes complete with hard-anodized CNC-machined threaded aluminum sleeves, CNC-wound SAE 9254 racing springs, and mounting hardware that allows up to a 3" drop. The Skunk2 coilovers have a dual-locking perch design that has proven to be the most reliable method for securing the spring perches. The key to the coilovers' performance and unsurpassed ride quality is the advanced spring design technology that allows the use of higher spring rates with minimal compromise to ride quality. As with any coilover kit or suspension modification, take into consideration proper suspension geometry. Camber, caster and toe are all directly related to each other and are affected simultaneously when adjusting ride height. When lowering your vehicle the camber will begin moving negative (when the top of the wheel moves in toward the vehicle) and the toe will move in (the front of the wheel moves towards the vehicle). Make sure to get your alignment checked and properly setup for what you're looking to get out of your vehicle. You may want to consider a Skunk2 Camber Adjustable Control Arm Kit to correct overly negative camber. This will insure the right amount of traction for every situation.
