The SplitFire Copper Core Resistor Spark Plug features the patented SplitFire V design on the ground electrode. This design is instrumental in improving combustion efficiency. The flame kernel is not blocked by the ground electrode and can travel through the V notch into the combustion chamber. The copper core aids in cooling. The power tip projects the firing tip into the combustion chamber for maximum exposure to the air/fuel mixture. It has a smooth ceramic insulator to ensure a tight seal at the plug boot. The resistor plugs minimize electronic interference and can aid in reducing electrode erosion.
