Drivers in various forms of motorsports utilize these Sport-Comp tachometers to achieve maximum horsepower when critical shifting is a priority. An advanced air core meter movement provides accuracy and quick response on the popular 5 Monster face. Sport-Comp tachometers include the exclusive rubber lined shock strap that protects against severe vibrations. A bright amber shift-lite signals any pre-selected rpm to notify the driver to shift. The Dial-In-Exactness feature actually utilizes the tachometer's fluorescent red pointer to indicate the chosen rpm. By turning a set knob on the tach face, the pointer sweeps up or down until the preferred rpm is selected. The rpm can be checked at anytime by simply switching the knob to Set. Item 3904. Operates on 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines with points, electronic and most high performance racing ignitions with 12 volt power.
