Putnam Class III Trailer Receiver Hitches provide with a variety of advantages over the old-style draw bar style hitch. They are designed for each vehicle type, model and year for simple installation to ensure better fit, maximum safety and top performance. This square tube hitch, with 2 receiver opening, supports up to 5,000 pounds of maximum gross trailer weight (MGTW) and 500 pounds of maximum tongue weight (TW). Adding a Weight Distribution (WD) system will increase the towing capacity to 5,000 pounds of gross trailer weight and 500 pounds of maximum tongue weight. This is a no drill application. They come with new PolyShield protective rust protectant finish, designed to withstand extreme conditions and it locks the matte black firmly in place and keeps your hitch looking great for years to come. They come with all necessary hardware and easy installation instructions. Class III Trailer Hitches do not include a ball mount, hitch ball, or pin and clip.
