Auto Meter Lunar Short Sweep Water Temperature Gauge when properly installed and located can accurately measure the temperature of the coolant, so as to prevent serious internal problems and help prevent over heating and or cold seizure. Lunar series gauges feature a bright white dial face, black numbering and a silver bezel. This new lunar series gauge from Auto Meter omits a lovely green luminescent glow provided by a thin layer of phosphor that is exposed to a mild electric charge that is bright enough for night time driving but not overly intrusive. The gauge itself is a high quality item and is a perfect fit with the Auto Meter gauge pod. Advanced 90 degree air core movements and simple three wire installation characterize these high performance instruments. Electric sending units keep hazardous fluids in the engine compartment sending collected data via an electrical signal to quick reacting, precise air core movements to give you all the information that you need and nothing that you don't.
