With the finishing pad's Velcro backing, easily attach and center the Soft Buff Foam Finishing Pad to the Dual Action Polisher’s backing plate.

Before Waxing

Before working on a car with compound and the Soft Buff Foam Finishing Pad, begin by washing and drying the car thoroughly. If surfaces are rough to the touch, clay the car using Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit first.

Waxing

For adding protection, enhancing shine and achieving brilliant reflections, use the Soft Buff Foam Finishing Pad along with Meguiar’s, Mirror Glaze 205, Ultra Finishing Polish.

Applying Mirror Glaze 205, Ultra Finishing Polish

• 1. Attach the pad to the Dual Action Polisher.
• 2. Apply a strip of Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze 205, Ultra Finishing Polish directly onto the tan finishing pad.
• 3. Place the face of the pad flat on the paint. Turn on the drill and begin buffing with moderate pressure in an overlapping pattern while keeping the pad flat against the paint at all times.
• 4. Apply additional Mirror Glaze 205, Ultra Finishing Polish as needed and let dry for 3-5 minutes.
• 5. Wipe off with a clean Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel, turning to a clean side for the final wipe.
• 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 as needed to complete the rest of the vehicle.
